Prestige accounting Inc. was established in april 2000 by its managing director, david simpson
The primary goal at the time was to address the lack of local support for students pursuing the ACCA qualifications. It was the umbrella under which the Prestige Accounting Bookshop & Accountancy College was established, providing a tuition and learning space for professional training and support, eliminating the need for costly overseas study.
On 20 December 2010, the ACCA awarded Prestige its Approved Learning Partner (ALP) Platinum Status, making it the first Platinum Approved ALP in the Caribbean.
After more than 15 years of serving over 5,000 students from Barbados and the OECS, David made the decision to pivot Prestige towards meeting the needs of small businesses.

Today, Prestige Accounting Inc. is the parent company under which Prestige Financial Services and Prestige Accountancy and Business College sit. These three divisions concentrate on providing bookkeeping, accounting and other management services to startups, micro, small and medium sized entities. Additionally, the business creates and supports strategies for the creation of sustainable and viable businesses across industry and sector.
